In partnership with Intelicle we have been developing third sector software to help manage certain charitable organisations with their services. They are now nearing completion. Food Bank Referral System
The food bank management system is being designed to make use of technology more efficiently in the day to day running of the food bank easier and more productive, reduce paperwork and delays
• Fast-tracking the review process where the referrals can be made electronically
• Recording of incoming donations into the food bank along with a record of those who have made donations
• Giving a clear view of the stock level the food bank is holding so that they can spot much earlier what stock is required before running short
• Providing a view of who the donations are going to and which staff member is dealing with each stage of the process.
All of these are meant to provide an audit trail and reduce the time to manage this work manually. Also, the reporting will help the food bank significantly by giving an accurate view of the people they have helped and how much food they have distributed.
The system will provide even more benefit to larger entities who have more than one food bank where they can get a real-time view of how each food bank is doing at any time from a central system which can be used to secure more funding. At present 90% of the system is now complete and trials have begun at certain food banks
Food Drive
To help community groups such as food banks get the food donations more conveniently. We are able to develope an e-commerce site offering items required by the group Once purchased online the group is able to buy the items in bulk and receive a better discount directly with the store. This way the group is donated the exact item it requires.. This in turn saves the donor time traveling from shop to the groups premises thus reducing co2 footprint.
Offices and businesses can then have a group virtual donation amongst their staff for the charity they wish to support and of course publicise the event on social media
Hot Meals Referral System
The hot meal management system is very similar to the food bank system
• Fast-tracking the review process where the referrals can be made electronically
• Giving a clear view of the ingrediants used in the hot meals.
Also, the reporting will help the meal providers significantly by giving an accurate view of the people they have helped and how much food they have distributed.
